ZBrush 4 - a hyperlink list of the YouTube video tutorials (updated)

The videos from Pixologic demonstrating the new features are great.

I wanted to be able to watch them in a logical order and return to them later for review. Using Word, I created a simple .htm file that displays the titles by category and made each title a hyperlink link to the appropriate YouTube video.

To use:

  1. Unzip the file ZBrush 4 Video List.htm into the ZBrush 4 main directory.
  2. Open your browser and load the file.
  3. (might as well bookmark it for future access)
  4. Middle-click any hyper-linked title to open the YouTube video in a new tab.

I use it with two monitors, one open to ZBrush 4 and the other, my browser, displaying the linked list of YouTube videos.

Add your own favorite YouTube ZBrush videos simply by editing this file with Word.

Below is the new update (as of August 30th, 2010)

Thanks my friend!! Usefull link!

Very useful Sven, thanks!

Bless you.

Thanks!!! This is 100% USEFUL!!! Dan.

Great, thanks!

Thank you everyone… I’m glad the list turns out to be helpful, it sure helped me get a handle on many aspects of 4.0. In the original post I neglected to include the .xml folder with the .htm file, sorry about that.

Here’s a small update to the .htm file (.xml folder now included). I’ve added about a dozen new links to some terrific tutorials by Steve Warner and five definitive UV Master tutorials from Pixologic, released I believe when UV Master first came out - it’s all great stuff.

Just download and unzip it so it overwrites the original .htm file and folder… wherever you installed the first ZBrush 4 hyperlinks page.

If you are downloading ZBrush 4 Video List.zip for the first time, I suggest unzipping it right into the ZBrush 4.0 folder, then create a bookmark linked to “ZBrush 4 Video List.htm”, inside your browser.

As more of these quality tutorials appear I hope to expand the list further.

(The cannedmushroom classroom tutorials are already so well organized and managed (and produced) by Jason, himself, that I’ve left those out.)
