Hello! I’m Gray Ginther and I’m a character artist soon to be at Vigil Games in Austin. I’ve been using the beta since early January and feel like I’ve really only scratched the surface of all the new and improved tools. For these images the Realtime shader display is great, as are new brushes like Clay, Magnify, & the Elevation slider for Pinch. Polypaint is a lot of fun as well (and Ralf Stumpf’s Sculpey material = instant art approval in department meetings). The list could go on, so here are some Preview mode renders:

thanks for the replies everybody! It was a fun little project to play around with. The last design is based on one of the drawings of Sumo Grand Champions on this cup I have, and I would like to try to make some more of them some time. Hopfully soon, I’m in between computers right now.

Very strong modeling, the shding and lighting gives the character a really nice feeling of his shape…
