Why on earth does Zbrush 3.5 start up with a huge sphere staring at my face???.. I DO NOT WANT THIS… its obnoxious… I don’t like having to clear it out every time I start the app. Whats the fix to get rid of this? This is an amazing package and I love Zbrush but its things like this that drive me nuts about it. I Appreciate any help guys =)
Lol…that’s exactly what I feel when I first launch ZBrush 3.5R3…but I guess there is another threads already discussing about it somewhere inside the forum…but never mind I tell you how…
Go to Program Files:Pixologic:ZBrush 3.5R3:ZScripts and edit the DefaultZScripts.txt file, you just need to put double slash “//” infront of properties that you don’t want…so it looks like this:
//[If,1,[FileNameSetNext,“ZPLUGS_SplashData/Startup.txt”][IPress,ZScript:Load]][pd]
//[If,1,[FileNameSetNext,“ZPLUGS_SplashData/SphereStartup.txt”][IPress,ZScript:Load]][pd]
The first line is telling ZBrush to NOT shows the default start up screen that you found in ZBrush 3.1. The second line is telling ZBrush NOT to automatically draw ZSphere at start up.
So if you want to turn it on again, just delete the // infront of it.

I wonder why there can’t be just a simple delete action… But anyways, quadruple thanks!
One less annoying sphere. Thank you so much.
