Seriously though, I hope this point release fixes all of the major workflow issues… there’s no reason to doubt that it will, but at the same time there was no reason for them to be there in the first place.

Typical of Pixologic to create a whirl of frustration by announcing v4 only to announce this shortly after. I think they must thrive on the fact that there’s no such thing as bad advertising!

I have to say, I am extremely impressed with the fact Pixologic are releasing information and setting dates for their software updates.

It’s just been a good week to be a ZBrush artist. Pixologic’s lab is more mysteriously exciting to me than Willy Wonka’s.

What’s going on behind those gates? Is there a river of red wax? Are all the workers green midgets? Is aurick an oompa loompa?

I need answers here.

All I’m looking for right now is to be able to export good normal maps to bring into Maya. Especially now since I just finished modeling and texturing a new character. This is great news, and if this is fixed, it will definitely tie me over until August.
