ZBrush 2026 Desktop Additions

ZBrush for iPad 2026.0.1 is now available. The following have been fixed.
- ZModeler creasing edges on inset polygon wouldn’t work if the option “inset each poly” was selected.
- 3D Print Hub and Scale Master single choice buttons were staying active.
- Renewing users unable to activate their license.
Python Scripting
This first wave of Python is being introduced as a standard scripting language in ZBrush, enabling users to create plugins, automations, and tools, similar to other 3D applications. This first edition has converted the ZScripting commands into Python. Providing a new way to automation within pipelines and aims to make ZBrush more compatible with pipelines.

ZModeler Continues to Grow
- ZModeler interaction improvements
ZModeler enhanced visibility when hovering over vertices, edges, and faces, makes it easier to model with confidence and to click on the right component.
- ZModeler Creasing Options Added to the Following:
Now when you Insert a Single Edge Loop or Multiple Edgeloops, ZModeler can automatically apply creasing to the insert edge(s). We’ve also added this ability to the Inset Polygon Action.
Noisermaker 2.0
NoiseMaker is getting a cool update! You can now switch off any inserted Alpha image directly within the NoiseMaker window. Plus, there are awesome new transformation features to play around with.
The following transformations are now possible with an Alpha Image.
- Rotation of the image to get that perfect alignment.
- Scaling on both axes to add a bit of squeeze.
- Offset on both axes to move the image to its perfect placement.
NoiseMaker now comes with handy Undo/Redo options, making it easy to cycle through your changes until you find the perfect noise.
The Pro Projects Library Expands
Yariv Newman of Pitch Dev Studios, 3D motorcycle sculpt, created in ZBrush, Designed and Art Directed by the incredible Scott Robertson, blends cutting-edge design with masterful detailing. This futuristic concept bike showcases the ability to design hard surface in ZBrush, all brought to life through dynamic sculpting and visionary design.
This is a perfect project to see how artists today take advantage of ZBrush’s hard surface techniques, including leveraging the LIVE Boolean system.

ZBrush for iPad Additions
Ready, Set, 3D Print
The ZBrush for iPad 2026 version is keeping up with its feature parity by including some of our favorite 3D printing features. We’ve added several essential tools to improve the 3D printing pipeline in this release. Check out the list of new features below.
- 3D Print Hub has been added, this plug-in allows you export models to a specific scale without changing their physical size within ZBrush’s document space for 3D printing and more. With this new addition, you’ll now have the following capabilities.
- STL Import/Export with or without color
- VRML export with or without color
- 3MF export
- Ability to export multiple Subtools as individual OBJs, STLs, 3MFs and VRMLs files.
- Scale Master has been added. With this feature, you can easily set a world scale and fine-tune the physical size of your 3D models within the ZBrush document space.
Create your own journey
We’ve added some exciting new features to help you create your own unique experience with ZBrush for iPad.

Modifier wheel size and rotation can now be adjusted with two fingers.

You can now move your custom toolbar from the bottom of the screen to the top with just a flick. It’s no longer limited to the bottom of your UI!

Your custom QuickMenu’s , while holding spacebar, can now be added to the tray to allow you to keep your favorite QuickMenu.

ZBrush’s acclaimed Surface Noise feature continues to expand. The ZBrush for iPad version has received another UI update, ensuring seamless interaction across all iPad sizes. Allowing the freedom to edit noises and still have the ability to edit the main controlling settings of the overall noise. Welcome to NoiseMaker 2.0!
- New UI allowing for greater workflow flexibility
- Alpha image now has transformation ability (rotate, scale, offset)
- Individual noise reset as well as global reset.
- Ability to undo/redo changes within in NoiseMaker.
pro projects library continues to expand
- Pro Projects are now cloud-based and can be downloaded and managed with ease. With every Pro Project, you’ll get a handy information card that covers everything you need to know, including file sizes and all the goodies you receive with each project.
- The new Scott Robertson and Yariv Newman Pro Project has also been added to the iPad version.
- With this new project, the FREE version of ZBrush for iPad now lets you easily toggle LIVEBoolean on and off. Plus, you can now select Subtool Boolean states too.
