Zbrush 2024.0.1 Move topology issue

HI guys,

Anyone have news on the move topological issues for zbrush 2024.0.1 ?

Usually, I use this tool to move fingers for characters or to create blend shapes, open mouths for my characters etc. but since zbrush 2024, the tool acts completely different and when you try to move 2 different surfaces, it affects them both just like the move tool.

1-Does anyone have a workaround ?
2-Does anyone know if it’s going to be fixed anytime soon, it’s already been adressed 2 months ago !

Thanks.

Hi @AGLH ,

This is a known issue in Zbrush 2024.01. This is currently under investigation and will be corrected in one of a number of upcoming product updates.

In the future , please report any suspected bugs or technical issues to Maxon support. The public forums are not employed for either technical support or the reporting of bugs, and you risk your issue being missed.

Thank you!

Awesome,

Will do for sure (and open a new ticket right now ^^ )

Any ETA on the next update ?

Cheers,

Alexis

It’s a known issue so you needn’t trouble yourself reporting it right now

Unfortunately I can’t tell you exactly when to expect an update or a fix, because if the situation changes for any reason you might feel you were misled. The investigation is ongoing at the current time.

Thanks for the reply.

I’m just wondering since the only way for people on our team to create blendshapes or do several important operations on some of the characters we currently are working on is to export and use and older version of zbrush…

Quite disapointing when you’ve been working like that for years and now you have to adapt your pipeline to something that wasn’t broken before…

Anyway thanks for your update, I appreciate your time.
