ZBrush 2022.0.4 Crash

Hi

I hope this is the right place for this, but I keep encountering a crash whenever I try to unfreeze my subdivision levels.

Now, I do go about this particular case like so: I want to mirror and weld a certain part of my mesh as it’s no longer symmetrical for some reason. It’s currently at around 10 million points as I’m in the middle of adding tertiary details. Unless there’s a better approach for getting these Polygroups to Mirror and Weld, what I’ve been doing is deleting the lowest subdivision levels, hiding the parts I want to change, splitting them into their own SubTool, Mirror and Welding them, merging the parts back together, Reconstructing the Subdivision levels, freezing the lowest level, Welding the parts back together, and then Unfreezing Subdivision Levels. However, whenever I perform that last step, ZBrush just crashes without any error messages. :-\

I’ve recorded a video of the process and the crash via Screencast:

Hi @DustyShinigami

Crashes should be reported directly to Maxon Support. Also, you can try posting this in the ZBrush Usage Questions Forum where these types of questions are usually posted, but you might get the same response there.

Thanks for letting me know. I’ll report the crash via ZBrush Support.
