I’m not asking about when, we’ve all already done that…
- Is ‘drawing’ the mesh over the zspheres still supported? I noticed the video of this missing from the 2.5 preview videos page. It’s one where a mesh is ‘drawn’ over a zsphere armature.
2)Will 2.5 support ‘symmetrical’ painting over asymmetrically posed meshes as Mudbox can/will do? It’s not really that big of a issue for me, just curious.

When using zsphere armatures to pose meshes, is it possible to set some parts or components of a mesh as ‘move/rotate’ only? IE, say for armored plates, we don’t want them to distort, we just want them to move with the underlying armature
-
For the 22 million polygon model video, what was the underlying hardware specs for the machine? What kind of poly boost will 2.5 give us on the same hardware?
-
When will it be released? ( Okay, I just had to ask )…

I’m already planning on purchasing Zbrush, I need it for my miniatures work

While Silo 2.0 ( currently beta ) is proving to be a great polygon modeler, it’s displacement painting is pretty limited in terms of polycount. Killer for tweaking a model though.
