So, I was plowing thru CGSociety, catching up on my reads there, when I encounter an article about dominance war. It’s basically an inter-forum 3D Art championship of global scale. So, I was looking at some art and thought, many of these meshes must’ve gone thru Zbrush or lesser capable high resolution 3D software. And I was thinking, how come I’ve never come across this over at ZBC?
A quick search turns up a couple of thread about an entry in the contest but the thread were one of them short ones with low interest.
So, anyway, I thought, since many of these arts must’ve went thru ZB or other 3D software, how come we at ZBC is not part of this dominance war thing?
The next dominance war is starting February 2008, and even the chinese has joined with a forum BIGGER than CGTalk. (I didn’t know any forum CAN be bigger than CGTalk) I’m sure a LOT of meshes would go thru Zbrush in those process. Pixologic has created such indispensable tool. AND if you look at the galleries, there are TONS of 3D artwork over here that would blow the competition away! I’d even dare to say, that ZBC has more great artwork per capita compared to other fora.
So, Pixologic, Dare you answer the call for the Dominance War?
