ZB 2024 Move Topological Bad Artifact!

Hi all!
I have a problem with using the move topology brush. Every time I use it, an artifact like the one in the screenshot below is created.
It seems to me as if the vertex located at the center of the brush circle was moved less than the others, so that spike is created.

I tried restarting ZB, resetting the brush and also resetting the entire ZB interface, but the problem didn’t go away. It happens with each polymesh I tried with and in whatever direction I move the mesh. :weary:

Thanks to anyone who would give me a hand!

Not only that, there is also a problem when acting on models such as fingers, it seems that Range does not work.

I have the same problem. The topology button doesn’t work for any of my brushes. Did you happen to transfer your brushes from an older version of ZBrush to ZBrush 2024 because that’s what I did. I’m wondering if that’s why the topology button isn’t working for any of my brushes.

i have the same problem  anyone found a fix?

No, it’s a fresh new installation.
I have imported nothing from the previous ones.

Ok. Good. I can rule that out then.

strangely when mirror is on it works no problem.

Good to know. Thanks.

even does it with the Standard brush if you turn on Topological

Thanks everyone!

This is a known issue currently under investigation.

I am also having this problem with turning on Topological.

Yes has this problem too

same here :frowning:

Did you manage to solve it? I have the same problem. Even after updating to 2024.0.1

Curves are still broken even in 2024.0.1, when you make a curve and drag the start, it moves towards the camera, instead of moving parallel to the camera

Any update on the move topological issue ?
Thanks

nope,2024.0.1 have same problem

I’ve the exact same problem as MIKECUBE…started for the first time yesterday and don’t know why?

@mikecube I found a solution for myself as follows: I increased the smoothing parameter in the auto masking segment of this brush.
