Hello, I have a problem in the Zapplink integration with photoshop. When I create one 3d object I click in Zapplink button, the plugin open photoshop but does’nt appear any layer of object generated in zapplink. And I dont know if I am doing something bad or it is a bug of zapplink
Can you show a picture of the problem? I’m not sure exactly what the issue is.
ZApplink will open Photoshop but isn’t creating the PSD file.
I changed the external editor to Corel Photopaint and got the following error message when ZApplink opened it up.
File C:\PROGRAM FILES\PIXOLOGIC\ZBRUSH3\ZStartup\ZPlugs\ZAppLinkData\TempZAp pLinkExport.psd not found.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Are you using Vista? There can be some permissions issues with Vista.
There are some posts relating to it in this thread:

Thanks marcus_civis. I actually found the answer on another thread. There are so many threads all asking this same question I’d lost track of them.
For anyone here looking for the solution ie:
ZApplink opens CS3 but there’s no image.
I nailed this down to being a Vista problem so I put it all on my other pc with Windows XP and it worked fine.
I still didn’t know how to get round it though until I read vincemaximus’s post in another thread.
And I quote…
“I had to right click the ZBrush.exe file and select run as administrator”
That’s all I had to do and it now works fine!
(After some days I have returned)
Thank you Marcus
Now works, I have open zbrush.exe with “Run as administrator” (Windows Vista)
