Hey all. I’m getting this error. I set the target app photoshop, though still get the error. I’ve tried running zbrush in admin mode and same thing. Any fixes for this? cheers
I’ve also started getting this UI bug with zapplink. Not sure what I did here as it was ok not long ago.

I seem to be having a problem with my Zapplink as well… I am trying to connect to the latest version of Photoshop and when I launch I get in message Error encountered while trying to connect to external editor. I am working in zbrush2018.1 I also tried running both programs as admin, but still no luck. Any advice or help is much appreciated.
It still seems to work with zbrush 4R8 however, in Photoshop you have to turn off show “start” workplace when no documents are open. It can be found under edit - preferences - General.
Still no luck getting it to work with the zbrush 2018.1 tho…
