Hi guys. I’ve run into a bit of a problem, first let me start off with what I am doing. I have a low poly hard surface model I textured in Photoshop. I needed to fix a few texture seems so I dropped it in Zapplink, Photoshop CS3 popped up and I painted out my seams with the clone brush. Saved the file, went back to Zbrush, rinse repeat for all the views. Things seemed to be working fine. The texture changes updated in Zbrush. Now here is where I am lost. When I open the texture file in Photoshop, there are no changes. How and where are my changes being saved? I have to be doing something wrong but I’m at a loss as to what. I’ll be the first to tell you that my experience with Zbrush is very limited but so far what I have done to eliminate texture seems has worked great other than I cant find where its being saved. In one attempt I even went as far as painting a big red A on the side of my model. It updated in Zbrush when I tabbed back, yet I cant find that texture sheet. Hopefully someone can help me out.
Yeah no prob mate it is saved into the z app folder and named tempzappexport or something similar cant remember its been a while but it saves it as a temporary file in the zapp folder as its overwriten each time you do more painting so needs to remain there just take it out and rename it when done
