Zadd/Zsub not adding/subtracting properly

I looked around for any other threads with this problem but didn’t come up with anything so here it goes!

I used ZBrush 4 on my old computer and it worked 100% fine. Recently I upgraded to a new PC and now the basic functions of ZBrush are wonky. In particular, Zadd and Zsub. On my old PC, holding down the mouse during zadd-ing/zsubbing would continually add/sub the mesh in the spot I clicked. Easy enough. On the new PC, it only seems to pick up the first click and only will add/sub more to that spot if I move the mouse around. I also tried with my Bamboo tablet and got the same result.

So, is this a problem with ZBrush or with my system? I’m running Windows 8 if that makes a difference. I went through the Mouse and Tablet control panels and everything seems to be in order. What am I missing here?

I’m not sure what you’re actually saying is the problem.

So, do you have ZB 4R6 P2? Check under stroke and see if lazy mouse is enabled, another place to check may be in here. http://docs.pixologic.com/reference-guide/picker/ Good luck.

If your pentablet pen has a option to switch from pen t eraser try it when you switch to eraser it inverts.

I had the same problem with my xp pen artist i changed the binds so i dont switch accidentally .
