Z4R3 - Edit Retop errors 'Locked main mem in list-out' - during rotation/zoom.

I’m running into a problem where Z4R3 keeps crashing w/ an error ‘Locked main mem in list-out’. It seems to happen right after I draw/move a point and try to either zoom out/in, rotate or pan around to keep editing the Topology.

Also, not sure if this is possible, is there a way to hide a part of the mesh I’m retopping? I tried hiding part of the original mesh, but the whole tool shows up on ‘Edit Retopology’. It be nice to see like 1 leg at a time - the obj. is not symmetric.

Thanks,

If you use the Using Appended ZSpheres to Retopologize method, then you can hide parts of your mesh while you retopo.

Thnx Zber2. I’ll give a shot of my next figure I have to retop. Pretty much the workflow goes from the Zbrush artist that is pretty much sculpting all the way w/ Dynamesh and leaves me a 7~8 million poly mesh - which I have to retop so we can get the subdivision levels and migrated to Lightwave, plus the UV, Displacement, Normal maps. And, passed on for surfacing and rigging.

I’ll see if the appended ZSphere methods also leads to less crashes.
