Hi,Here is my latest work.

The final mesh modeled 3dsMax,textured with Photoshop,Rendered on Mentalray, and Hair&fur for the hair.
I hope you like it.

Wow, this is fantastic realism. I would make the eyes a little larger though. Usually children’s eyes are a little larger in proportion to their face than adult eyes.

Very nice though!

5 stars man i looked at the thumbail and thought i was looking at reference pic or something this is truely beautiful.

Hey first of all congrats on this piece and Happy new year to you, this is really beatifull work man,can you post the highres zbrush images?once again beatifull.:+1:

Great man.outstanding image.5stars from me.

This definite top row work! The face looks great! Even the sweater looks amazing! Can you tell us a little about your lighting and rendering settings? Also what kind of shaders are you using?

You’re 10 pixels away from the “Looks like i can touch i” Realism :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1:

There is one thing that makes some noise to me: The overall brownian texture in the face, I think it should be a little less evident in some zones, around the eyes, lips and nose

Happy December-January transition

Very nice !
It´s amazing!

Big Hug!

She doesn’t look too happy about having her picture taken. The hair looks a bit thin and lacking in density, is it possible to thicken it in photoshop? Also for the skin texture, it seems like it could use a tad more color variation, espeically in the cheeks and chin.

Btw I think you did an incredible job. It must have been tricky try to sculpt her face. Any extra detail might age her, I would think.

woop, welcome to uncanny valley. i think that the light is throwing me. i would pick either a regular disposable camera photo to match to or a professional shoot. at the moment it looks like its somewere between the two. love the jumper. wonderful wonderful wool

Highest compliment I can pay you is that I looked for 15 minutes
for my password to be part of this thread.

  1. Truly, one of the most “lifelike” submissions I have ever seen.
  2. To be honest, if you had not posted the working images, would have
thought you had submitted a photo and tried to “scam” us.
  3. Whatever adjectives and compliments that are posted here are
    well deserved

My compliments to you!!!
Great Holiday!!!

wow…
It blows me away the work that is out here.
Makes me realise how little I know (not that I thought I knew a lot) and It fills me with excitement everyday I scan these pages.

thanks,
beautiful work.

Tomas

thats some amazing pic :grimacing:
top row anyone ? :+1: :+1: :+1:
ho and the hairs on her forehead ,the tips of them looks abit pinted over cuz they are to faded other then that …ehh…perfect :stuck_out_tongue: :+1: :+1:

Wonderful work. The asymmetry in the face is refreshing. 5 stars and a vote for top row.

really great work!!! Happy New Year!
Best regards, Selwy

That’s really nice, great to see a little less perfect face as a subject matter - usually those realistic renders are very artificial because of the symmetrical and touched up catalogue subjects! Top row for sure :+1:

Those eyes are incredible!

Well done man, 5 stars! :+1:

Great work man…
awesome render …

Top row :+1: Could you show light and material setup?

Woah killer
