A personal project for a collectible inspired from a kabuki play written in 1825, named Tōkaidō Yotsuya Kaidan (東海道四谷怪談, Ghost Story of Yotsuya in Tokaido) that has been adapted for film over 30 times and continues to be an influence on Japanese horror today. The story is a tale of betrayal, murder and ghostly revenge, according to Wikipedia, Yotsuya Kaidan - Wikipedia .
I tried to create a 3d print ready diorama using as visual reference traditional japanese illustrations of the story, that I transformed into a 3d concept able to communicate the essence of the story to the viewers. I hope you like it.
