Here is a mini tutorial that I was shown and I don’t think it’s complete:
Roughly, the procedure is this:
1- import item
2- tell Zbrush to store a morph
3- subdivide as many times as you can
4- start painting the displacement
5- reduce subdivision
6- switch the morph off
7- create displacement through the displacement tool
8- export displacement from the Alpha palette
I am working on a robe for a Poser model and wanted to include some displacement options for things like wrinkles and fine details. What I get is barely anything. I really would love to get past this hurdle as I know that ZBrush is going to offer the very best in fine detail work.
If there are any other settings or tips that can be added to this I would be most greatful as there seems to be some steps or tips missing.
