it looks like a pretty good start but it seems you’re maybe being a little to timid with the tools. i mean his eye sockets are almost non existent and his mouth is hard to recognize. you have the right idea with just free sculpting but don’t be afraid to get in there and really push that geometry around. good job though keep it up man.
it’s a really good start, I think you’re stuck because you’re probably creating this from your mind. Try researching some alien heads and then create you’re own version of what you see, it’ll help alot. lets see some new things you added
