Hi P,

I usually don’t poke my nose in when stuff like this happens, but I feel like you are too valuable a member of the forum to lose.

Take a few deep breaths and look again at the thread… and at the FORUM names. Your thread here is almost 100% YAFRAY and your enthusiasm for it is evident. I bet you’ve already peaked the interest of other ZBrushers to go and check YAFRAY out, and several will post responses to your effort. Wasn’t that what you intended by starting this thread? People will still see what you are doing with YAFRAY over here.

All Pixologic is doing is keeping the ZBRUSH FORUM for Zbrush (the product they sell) and the COMMUNITY FORUM for OTHER STUFF. Sure non-Zbrush commercial material slips through in the ZBRUSH FORUM, but 99 times out 100, when there is some render by another app, it’s a ZBrush model they are rendering.

Don’t stop being a member of ZBCentral: you really like it here, and more importantly, many of the other members really appreciate all that you contribute (I know I do.)

he is correct in that there’s never been a limit to the renderer used in the gallery as far as I’m aware…

you could argue as an administrator that this is a whole topic on an external software and doesn’t fit in the gallery, but like he said there are huge maya/max displacement threads…

dunno, just seems like a sticky situation either way, don’t get TOO burned polaris… I’ve occasionally been offended by mods in other communities where I am active who make some change I don’t agree with… but overall don’t let your opinion of things get in the way of your work, there’s no reason to in the long run

Very kewl renderings Pol!!

Far as the other stuff…dont sweat it…feces occurs…just one of those things we live with…no biggy…and certainly no reason to lose a valued member as yourself. I appreciate your postings and enjoy them thoroughly…Your help is always instrumental in us learning something new. Keep up the great work.

Seriously, I love your work. Don’t let a post move sour your experiences here…they aren’t out to get you, your post was just more Yafray then Zbrush so it does justify the move. Don’t leave the forum over it.
