WOW Dwarf

I’m a fanatic World of Warcraft player and love the opening movies to both the original game and the add-on.

So I thought I’d attempt a Dwarf character

First model in Z brush so go easy on me and any comments, feedback and suggestions/tips would be helpful and appreciated.

Finally he will have full body armor but wanted to make him up before dressing him.

Well, that looks like a good start. Just stay on it, and have fun learning!

nice start… define more details on it. :+1:

Bit more info on the model, thought it might allow me to get better feedback

Original model was based in 3dsmax, based on some screen dumps of a standard dwarf in World of Warcraft.

Might go back to 3dsmax and refine the model as all the face and beginings of the muscles were created in z brush.

Plus not happy with the hands almost claws when you look at them from different angles.

Couple of questions that I hope people can answer

  1. Any reference material people know of that shows decent muscle definition as I’m going to struggle with that.

  2. Z brush wont let me increase the subdivision something about deleting previous divisions or something, very confused.

will post an update once I’ve got back from work and slept

good start

Since this is a early version seems promising… but now define well it…

looks like one of the earthen’s if u know wow lore :stuck_out_tongue:

Well he’s got a little bit more data

Went back and redid the base mesh to give him toes and worked on the hands a little as they didn’t look right

Does any body have any clue where a good tutorial (video if poss) for modelling human figure, cause I’ve followed some of the tutorials from the wiki page but lots of the links don’t lead anywhere or there not relevant to zbrush 3.1 but zb2

Tell me what you think people, and feedback. lots and lots of feedback
