workflow from zbrush to substance designer

hi i want o import a model ex dog and i dont know the steps to exporting it to substance designer. i have a dog and i have uved do I have to make different polygroups then esport it
do i havt o make different subtools head legs etc then export it any help would be great

You can UV and save it out as a complete OBJ and then import it to SP. SP will recognize the polygroups and you can untick the ones you don’t want visible.

i must be doing something wrong because i assigned different polygroups to the dog and it came out as one polygroup in substance painter i cant select the head etc do i have to use maya for ex to assign materials tothe different polygroups then import into substance painter. any help would be
great

You can do it that way too if you want. Another way is top use UV Mapper or similar to colour the groups.
