Very nice work. Only thing I would change, are the ears (they dont feel like human ears at all except if you wanted to look like that;)). Very good texturing too.
great model, great skills of anatomy, great face expression
Welcome here Keith…
cheers
btw: your http://www.unparent.com/images/wip_bromFull.jpg can I already long time, it’s my favorite from you, downloaded to my best-off-database, thank you for inspiration dude:D
(pool_gipsy: are U that??)
btw second: great photo-galery have you there… seems to be we have both same hobbies… I have 2 dogs, love SF, zb, bars, architecture, italian-food and dolce vita, photocameras, lambos, paganis, zondas, galZ and so on
(hmmmm, only my english is a little bit “fuzzy” )
…and a fan of Skinny Puppy too. Don’t get too many of us around
Nice work. I think you’ve got too much red around the nose, eyebrows and ears though.

Great Work , cannot wait to see the finishing model and Art !
thanks for the kind words.
el-d: skinny puppy was the first cassette I ever bought, back when “mind the perpetual intercourse” was new, gotta be close to 20years now. been listening to industrial music ever since, here is the collection.
Abyssis: Thanks, I need to go back to the Brom Dog after the burroughs head. I abandoned it a while ago, but it was a decent start, so I should finish it. You have a nice collection of hobbies, we overlap quite a bit, except we dont get Zonda’s over here, just have to watch them on Top Gear and drool. and I’m not pool_gypsy, just joined the site yesterday.
The red nose and ears looked fine on my machine at home, and they when I looked at it at work, they looked way too dark, and you guys concur, so I may need to recalibrate my home monitor. I am still working with the texture and shader to figure out how dark colors need to be to render correctly. Thanks again…
Excellent Burroughs! I could tell it was him immediately. I can still hear his voice in my head from the track “Star Me Kitten” he did with REM for the Songs From the Key of X CD. And Naked Luch kept me from trying heroin, so there’s that too…
A wonderful tribute, artfully done, Keith…

Really nice sculpt. The image on your site with the hat really sells it for me.
I think the first time I can remember hearing Burroughs was on “Sharkey’s Night” on a Laurie Anderson album. He’s one of my favorites…
There’s a bunch of his audio stuff up on Ubuweb:

Hmmm, that get’s me thinking. I haven’t seen any Mugwumps on this board yet…

I like this one as well. Nice!
wow, thanks guys. I appreciate the compliments and will keep me motivated to keep me working on him. I am going to try to work a bit more on him this weekend, update the hat, glasses and suit with textures and detail. Now I just gotta try to get the render to look similar in mental ray…
frogspam: that audio site rocks, great find…
