finished this for now. Did it for a mini challenge themed VICIOUS!!!
wanted a suped up venus fly trap with venom. (actually my GF was playing paper mario and she said the little plant guys in the tubes were vicious)

what makes this guy really scary is he grows to the heighth of the average persons genitilia.
I like this a lot. Mostly because it’s in the twilight zone between something recognisable and not. Hope to see you post more! Not only new things, but also differnet angles from this one.

I did a base mesh in 3dsmax, then did basic sculpting in mudbox. Then detailed it in zbrush. To keep texturing easy i do about 6-7 renderings and just composite in photoshop. I like doing it that way because i can control more.
