WIP- Vampire King ( new here for ur help)

Glad to be here to join u all.
I got the demo version of Z days before and for its amazing modeling capability I have bought a complete one.
This is my first try working in progress but I met various problems to go on.
Plz help me:
1.How to export map for displacement from Z to Maya?
2.How to add more details on the current polygon without any more times smoothing.( draw pointer looks not enough to brush)
3.How to sculpture hard edges on it.
4.I found that model in 3D layer may easily transform to 2D, and it can never be modified.

Thx for answering my questions and there are really a great deal of infomations in the
QucikLinks section.
I wanna say that many of Z’s modling principles are fancy. And I cant wait to go to the textureing step. Really interesting!!

Answer Junk’s question, I model the head in Z but the cloth and the buttons in Maya for I dont know how to model hard edges in Z. After learning info from QuickLink I think I will remodel his cloth these days. I believe that it will be easier and better than just pushing points in Maya.
Need more trys of other functions of Z.

Hi Aura
For hard edges in a primitive tool just disable the Smooth H and Smooth V in menu Tools/Modifiers/Submenu here some tips!

I’m not posting any answers, as I’m new to this too, but just to say that I am completely and utterly stunned! This is one of the best ZBrush heads I’ve seen anywhere, ever, and it’s your FIRST!!! In a way that makes me feel really depressed… :rolleyes: - I can buy a nice modelling program, but I can’t buy talent… Still, I hope you’re gonna share a lot of yours with us!
