I am trying to master ZBrush 2 and having allot of fun and some frustration. It’s very addictive! I will continue to work on the head and the rest of the horse and post it if anyone is interested in the progress.
Well he is a little chubby but he’s getting there.
that’s looking great! the hair and the texture on the horse itself is awesome. the eyes are pretty kewl too! a little more hair around the hooves and he’d be a work horse. keep up the good work

OUtstanding really
I’d like to see the little Link someone did really well on this forum on it^^
as soon as i set up some bones on the little guy…
Well here is the next installment. Definitely a more “studly” horse. Now I have to make a mare and foal to round out the picture.
This is a new model more like the standard bred. Please comment
Both models look great, keep working on them!!
Look forward to following your progress and see what you come up with.
Are they both zspheres or started base in another prog?
I’ m mo expert on horses but i like the “chubby” and the “studly” one’s best, more character… the other horse looks like a bored supermodel…and i am a little chubby myself…only a little

I was getting a little burned out yesterday, so it was great to get positive feedback (even negative would have been OK
All the horse modeling was done in Zbrush here is are the spheres and skins (some of them at least)
Your are right jantim, the chubby horse has allot more character. The more slender horse is just a basic model to practice confirmation and anatomy, she is not very interesting otherwise. BTW, where do I find all your wonderful shaders Meats keeps referring to?
Coming from a 2D background (my fantasy Web site) I find that the 3D learning curve is steep, but well worth it. As I have been working on these models I’ve been going back to the help section and tutorials which have been extremely helpful. Also, the forums with shared tips and tutorials are invaluable.
Once again I really appreciate the feedback, and will refine and update my models

“Not using my materials !” …you must be the only one
You can find it here http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=21692
jantim
Well, I downloaded them all! Guess I’ll have to create a metal horse
You realize now that if you use Jantim’s painted rust material you WILL be obligated to do a Meat’s wirestyle experiment with your horses right?
Thanks for showing the zspheres and cage…i like seeing how folks do up their spheres and how well the cage comes out.
Ps…if you start trying the wirestyle thing…be prepared not to see daylight for about 3 days…it is incredibly addicting fun!!!
…is a very acting expressive model

I love a challenge
Here is a shaded pict thanks to jantim. Now I know why Meats raves about your shaders
I have to get back to work(real world stuff ) but I will keep refining and adding…
