Wintab service unavailable: a fix!!!! YAY!

Ok, so I know a LOT of you get this and a lot of you have to reboot because of it, but you dont actually.

When starting ZBrush there is often this stupid frigging problem caused (I think) by windows, but you can fix it by restarting one of Wacoms processes YAY!.

To do this you simply have to restart a service, this is amazingly easy and quick, here’s how:

  1. Hit Control Alt Delete on your keyboard.
  2. Select Task Manager (or, if you have some other way of getting at the Task Manager, use that if you like).
  3. In the Task Manager you should see a bunch of tabs at the top, if not, hit More Details at the bottom.
  4. Select the last tab, its called Services.
  5. Under Description, look for Wacom Professional Service. Right Click it and hit Restart.
  6. NOW fire up ZBrush and you should be fine!

How about that huh?
