Windows or Mac version?

Hello, I am planning to buy ZBrush but I have not decided which platform to use the software on. For those who have used both Mac and Windows versions, which is better in terms of things like user interface and performance? In the past, although there were both Mac and Windows version of Adobe software, it was known that the Mac version was better. I wonder if it is the same for ZBrush.

Although I have a desktop PC with i9-9900K and 64GB RAM. I heard that even with a Nvidia RTX 2080i GPU, there is no gain in performance as ZBrush does not take advantage of the GPU. Is it the same for the Mac version of the software?

Yup. Zbrush is a cpu only program on both OS. If you already have that pc then you should get it on that. It will run zbrush quite well.

I have both a pc and mac and run it on my mac. My pc is more powerful but I dont see much a difference. Another thing to mention is the mac version isnt native to apple silicon yet so you are losing performance. That said it still runs well even when ran through rosetta. Hopefully a native client releases soon for MacOS
