Willabee

This guy was part of a CG workshops course with Katon Calloway. He was actually supposed to be a real time character but I’ve decided to do him high-res first. I’d love to get my head around UDK and get him running with that and viewable with an Oculus Rift. My new PC gets delivered this afternoon, and it’s fairly tricked out so I’m hoping to get quite a bit of fidelity out of it - perhaps even real-time displacements. Although I’m not sure how possible that is yet…

Your work is amazing!. So , are these renders done with Zbrush? WHat real time renderer are you planning to use?

Really love this sort of design and the way you managed volumes and details. thanks for sharing!

Nice job ! I’m thinking of doing too since the design is so great.

Thanks guys! I probably should have said that these are Vray renders… As for doing it in real-time, I’d really love to give unreal engine a go. Not sure how much learning is involved, I’d just love to be able to start viewing models in the Rift. I guess my other option would be Unity.

Hey there! I really love this piece, I remember when registration for that class was open its great seeing the pieces from it. I was wondering if you could share some of the shader information you used for the assests like his glove and the staff?
