widulinski' sketchbook

Hello there ZBrushers! I’d like to start sharing my works here. I’m a concept artist and an illustrator and this is my journey.
Best to you all,
Iwo Widulinski

So let us move on to sculpts. This is a model of a Warlock done for animated short being done @ evermotion studio. Hope you’ll like it :slight_smile:

This came out well. Especially the face.

:+1: :+1: Looks really good, very warhammer pose, love it. My son thought it was a prototype tomb king. :slight_smile:

Awesome! I love it. :+1: :+1:

Super Cool!

That is insanely good. Went straight to my desktop wallpaper.

More! And we’ll be seeing you in the Top Row.

5 stars.

veery nice work, just a little like miniature thing :D, I think that the jaw is too low and kinda stretch it doesn feel “natural” and for me it looks like it cant work like this. But just forget what I said, it is really good

Hey there! Thanks so much for such support. It really means a lot to me.

@Derek Frenzo: Thanks kind sir :slight_smile:
@stoppy: Very flattering. Cheers!
@zber2: High 5!
@DustyDeWD: I’m glad you like it. Take care.
@EricShawn: You make me blush. Thanks.
@stanley82: Appreciate the feedback. About that jaw - I wanted to make him look like he was corrupted and barely reminding human. Jaw hanging almost loose, deformed anatomy etc. I thought he wouldn’t be able to eat or speak just to make animal-like noises like those vampires form 30 Days Of Night. Thanks again for the comment :slight_smile:

I’ve got one more post produced render to show. Hope you enjoy it.

looking awesome.Great job !!!

Awesome. Hope you dont mind some crit, since having a sketch book is the point of improving.
Looks like you can take this model a lot further, a lot. It has grea potential especially with this pose. To give him a helmet, make a good saff this one seems very soft and under sculpted. maybe re do the face as well, a skull with ingrawings (magic symbols) with flesh hanging off it, maggot infested =) .
Do some research into with doctors or holy men. Egyptians, mayan, Far East anchient asian. With the body you could add a lot fo tension to the visible muscles, to show power. Make him really agressive!
The staff is pulled in towards his body , he should be “Thrusting” the staff towards the enemy as if he has cast a deadly blow or spell.
Remember thisere are JUST IDEAS im throwing your way XD

very nice work! Great attention to detail. The face is fantastic.

I love this one! And I must add anyone with creative input and skill to make it happen should really try to make their visions themselves (Ajdin ;))

I agree very much. But you also have to understand I LIKE the work very much, got exited about it and gave some ideas. He does not have to in ANY take in any of my ideas or opinions.

The point my “friend” is that Constructive Crit should always be welcome in Art. Always. Especially when this is a “sktchbook”.
I feel weird about your comment towards me, when I take the time from doing my own freelance work to give ideas and help someone.

ZbrushCentral is in a way like a School. No matter what your level is or position in the industry. We come here to share our works, meet artists, learn from one another. The whole point of work being uploaded as said is sharing & learning = Crit.

Cheers =)

After having viewed countless monsters, zombies, creatures, etc over the years at ZBrushCentral, I tend to barely skim over such threads, if I view them at all. And I certainly find little motivation to comment on them (not that they don’t deserve comments or praise, it’s just not a genre that I am drawn to).

BUT, I really enjoyed this submission from you. Very nice work, attention to the details. There is a lot of power in your character and you feel a story behind it, rather than a static creature render.

I think Adjin’s suggestions might be something you could consider, but the image still holds on its own. Knowing Cherub_Rock, I don’t believe the comments directed to Adjin were meant as any kind of assault, but probably more of a compliment about Adjin’s creative eye and encouragement to see what he might be able to produce himself.

For me, my only disappointment is that there is no color introduced here. I hope you will take it a step further and do some texturing. Keep up the great work. :slight_smile:
