Wich tablet?? with limited money :p

Hi, Im going to the US in a month and Id like to buy a Wacom tablet, mostly for sketching and a little of zbrush and maya…

I want to decide wich of these models fits best for me…

Graphire 4 6x8 – 200 $
Intuos 3 6x8 – 300 $
Graphire 3 6x8 – 100 $

Id be glad if people who have tried them could give me advice about wich tablet is best quality/price... Ive already looked through the forums but I haven`t found the advantages/disadvantages of the tablets considering the prices…

(EX. Intuos 3 is way better but isnt worth the extra 100 bucks, or something like this) Im left handed so Ill be able to keep using the mouse or keyboard with my other hand at the same time... so I dont think the Extra keys that come with the Intuos to be an important feature… but really I don`t know

Thanks in advance!!!

Hey Pencha,

I have an older model Intuos I use at home and an Intuos 3 at work and absolutely LOVE both of them. Especially the Intuos 3. The new programmable buttons they added are very handy. I didn’t think I would use them that much myself but I’ve ended up using them quite a bit. I find it helps me to stay centered around the tablet for longer without having to reach for my keyboard or mouse. I also believe that the touch is a bit better then my old model. Even the stylus seems a bit more developed.

Personally I can’t stand the Graphire series. I don’t think they even come close to comparing with the Intuos. So, long story short…I’d buy the Intous 3 as soon as you can! It’s a great deal for what you get and I doubt you’ll regret it. Yes, the Intous IS WAYYY better and is worth the extra money!

Thanks a lot Runcible!!.. I`ll have this in mind

if you have limited money my suggest is ebay, i bought a good wacom tablet full a4 for less than 250$ intuos2, which is a good and confortable solution.
good luck.
