I’ve seen the thread about 3d printing companies and I started to think why do you print out your models?
Is it only for your pleasure, to have something on your desk? Or it’s for bussinies reasons?
For me the 2 I have just sit on my desk nothing like having a physical version of your work well for me anyway. I just hope it gets more affordable so I can get more done.
I’m a traditional sculptor and have to have my work in 3D because that is what I sell. I haven’t made the switch from clay to digital yet, but have been exploring the possibilities for the future. At some point maybe 3D printing will be so smooth that there won’t be a need for me to make molds of my work and produce castings. That would be fantatastic, I hate moldmaking, and cleaning casts, yuck!
