Rate at which you play in Zbrush <= The time it takes you to Relaunch Zbrush after it crashes.

See heres my theroy
The whole time peeps wait for Zbrush to load they all get on Zbrushcentral to find out what everyone is doing and how much faster they are getting it done with Zbrush.

“HOW ARE THEY DOING IT?” They Cry out!
“I bet Zbrush 4.0 will come out today” they think to themselves.

But the answer has been here all along

This board is happening because ZBrush is happening. Damn, what is wrong with Maya? Every year they have this “upgrade” they expect people to pay big bucks for and what do they give in return?

I first saw Maya or rather its predecessors in Alias and Wavefront in 1990…and really it hasn’t changed a whole lot, at least in its interface. They’ve had quite a bit of time to come up with better ways to deal with UV mapping and manipulating 3d polygons…

Wouldn’t it be nice if Zbrush just kept evolving and in two or three years it just moved in and stole Maya’s lunch? I mean stole it all…

posing on 3d layers = keyframes… the program already exports video… all we need is a timeline :P… I would seriously never use another 3d software again

salmongod with marcus’s movie plugin that morphs from 0to1 on the 3d layers this is totally possible, i agree a timeline would make it easier, but as it is now you could make it work. i mean they didnt have computer timelines for all those old fleisher toons.

Yes, what Bicc said. I’d only add that a lot of others are acting as inspiration by just sharing their work here. After many years I’m actually creating again :+1:

This is the only place I’ve been where help is always there for beginners coming from the cream of the crop. CGSociety to a lesser degree, but it’s not the same atmosphere.
