I tried importing the Pisciasa mesh(https://flippednormals.com/product/stylized-female-base-mesh-pisciasa-edition-58) into zbrush but the mesh is black except the feet.
how would I make it so that I can see the mesh? pressing V doesn’t work.
HI @Luulaalaa_A ,
I can’t tell you anything for certain without examining the file, and I cannot examine the file from the public forums here. You would need to contact support and provide your file for examination.
However, this looks like maybe you have some black polypaint applied for whatever reason? Try disabling the paintbrush icon in the sub tool entry to disable polypaint. It should then display whatever the active material and texture is, rather than what has been painted on the model.
If switching of polypaint makes the model correctly display whatever the active color and material selections are, then you can probably correct the issue by refilling it with new Polypaint. Make sure MRGB is active and select Color > Fill object to fill it with the active color and material.
This can happen sometimes if the model has problematic UVs or some sort of material information embedded in the file that ZBrush does not support. Remember for instance that Zbrush does not support overlapping UVs OR more than a single texture/UV per sutool.
