Why does ZBrush flip UVs?

Hi

Just a quick question - I was wondering why ZBrush flips a mesh’s UVs on import? It seems to be the only software package that does this and I’m just curious why. Is there a very specific reason? And will it ever be changed?

Different 3D programs have different ways of reckoning their worldspace. It may be necessary to flip a texture horizontally, vertically, or both to get it to preview correctly. You can set this behavior in Preferences> Import/Export and then store your config to accommodate your particular workflow.
