I am finding after setting up a custom palette and putting some regular UI buttons on them , the buttons will sometimes not be there, I re add them again and yet they dissapear again. Any body knows what causing this?

I think there is a bug related to this. However, some other things to keep in mind:
Some buttons are only visible when a tool is in edit mode.
Depending on display resolution, some UI buttons may be clipped by the side panels, and only visible when they are hidden.
Custom brush buttons for brushes that don’t load on startup ( for instance the ones in the lightbox directory) will only become visible once they’ve been loaded into the program session.
Yeah may be a bug, I have noticed this on and off with buttons appearing and disappearing, I think it may have some thing to do when you edit and re edit the pallets. Also if you use macro buttons, and maybe make changes to your macro folder.
