Start work with Alex Oliver. I really have a long way to go …

lots of problems but im getting there?
the lower neck area where the tendons meet the clavicle is very weird right now. Also look at some basic proportions of a skeleton. The skull should be longer from the eyes to the top of the cranium than from the eyes to the chin.
thanks monteford2002
another re-try before another crash

excellent start…like your style…v natural.
why punish yourself though…use a sphere as a sub tool for the eye.
thanks ministerart I plan to use a sphere for the eye when I am making anything for production (if I ever get good enough at characters) but I like the fact that its difficult as its really forcing me to understand the form of the eyelids.
Any ‘natural’ style you are seeing though is probably completly down to alex oliver’s help
Some very nice stuff though if you are going for realism some of your anatomy is slighly off. eg - eyes too close together.
I really think you will progress quicker using the tools that are there. Using a sphere will free you up to more readilly understand how an eyelid works across a sphere…just a thought.
Peter
Also i think you could break up the skin a bit - put some bumps etc maybe pores.
