Which program for texturing model from ZBrush?

Hello,

I have question like in title.
I would like to create model in ZBrush - rock model and then I want to use it in 3ds max.
Which program is the best to create textures and then put it on this rock model in 3ds max?
Do you recommend Substance Painter? or something else?

Why not try Polypainting and Spotlight in ZBrush first, before buying more software? If you don’t like what the results, then try Substance Painter if you already have it.

Another option now… which is fairly cheap … is go grab Mari. 59/mo now is an option from foundry. It can also handle higher res maps over 8k size and larger models.

For the moment substance while trying to do udim’s there is a bug right now… can’t paint across udim’s yet… anoying…
they will get there eventually… one nice thing with mari is… PTEX support out of the box for high poly models.
