which graphics card would you choose?

(two for sli) bfg 8800 gts oc 640mb

or

(two for sli) nvidia quadro fx 1400 128 mb cards

i currently have one of each installed and as far as gaming goes… a single 8800 kicks the crap out of two quadro fx cards… crysis, unreal tournament 3, etc… i also have no problems with using maya and zbrush and other 3d applications.

so im thinking maybe i should get another 8800 card…

why is the quadro fx 1400 still $300 to $400!! i got those cards like 3 years ago! what do they do or have the the 8800 gts oc 640mb cards dont have.

Somethibng I’ve read many times over… Sli is for people with too much money, and not enough brains.

The performance gain you get is minimal, when you consider the costs. (Keep in mind you’ll probably need to replace your psu as well, and might need to add additional cooling as well.)
