Hi everyone. I have recently started to use Zbrush 3.1 and I can’t find the deco brush anywhere. I read on the forums that it is now in the Tool menu but I just can’t locate it. Is it possible that the brush is not installed? If so where can I download it from?
I am using an HP Pavillion 1.8 GHZ with 2GIG RAM and a Gefirce GO 7400. Windows Vista 64bit.
Also for some reason to get Zbrush to work properly with Vista I have to run it with administrator rights constantly.

The Deco brush has ALWAYS been in the Tool palette. It is a 2.5D brush, as opposed to a sculpting brush. So it can be used with Projection Master, but not directly in edit mode. That’s why it’s not in the Brush palette.
As for running as admin, this is a Vista thing. Vista made some pretty big permissions changes compared to XP, and that affects many programs. Vista is supposed to remember the “Run as Administrator” setting after you’ve specified it through the right-click context menu. Sometimes, though, it doesn’t. In that case you can force Vista to remember by right-clicking on the ZBrush3.exe and choosing “Properties”. Then go to the Compatibility tab where you will see a check box for running the app as an administrator. Check that box, click “Apply” and close the window. Vista will remember the setting from that point forward.

Unfortunately the deco brush is not in my brushes palette either. With Zbrush 3.1 are you meant to be able to choose a brush type once in projection master because when I drop a mesh the brush palette becomes unusable i.e all the brushes are grayed out and can’t be selected.
If you want to use the deco brush on a mesh then you have to use projection master. 
After dropping with Projection Master, look at the TOOL palette. Not the Brush palette. I assure you that the Deco brush will be there.
The Brush palette is only accessible when you’re in edit mode. With Projection Master, your model is no longer in edit mode and so you use the Tool palette.
