Kathy,
in cyberspace “never” is a long time.

Personally I am of the opinion that we should encourage the younger generation to use tools like google instead of posting to the forum. Oh maybe s/he doesn’t have google on his/her computer?
After clicking on the
Googles search engine correction.
Why send 3D on a rabbit trail, when you can post a link?
Not have Google ON his/her computer?
I know you can download the googlebar, but didn’t know it came as an .exe.

No need to click on the correction, as you can see all the links came up with elephont download in the google window.

Not sending 3D on a rabbit trail, just teaching him/her about google. maybe he/she doesn’t know about it. 3D might have an urgent question one day and you might be asleep. I just think it’s more useful to teach than to spoonfeed. But I guess you’d be used to it what with two squids, eh!

It was a joke.
have you tried contracting it from a parasitic worm that is carried usually by mosquitoes in the Tropic Regions?
If not,all the previous advice should suffice.
I know I didn’t want to add the Google bar to my IE, but there IS a file you can download and install as an alternative to that, that uses fewer resources. When you want to do a Google search, just highlight the word or words you want to search, right click, and choose Google Search from your available options. It opens up a new IE window, at the Google search engine, already searched for you.
I don’t remember the exact URL of the download, but if anyone has trouble finding it, I can look for the file and e-mail it to you(provided I’m able to FIND it!) It’s pretty darn small.
Kathy, you and Thelonius better play nice! Whoops, there’s that “Dad” coming out in me…
I’m actually leaning more towards Thelonius’ point of view in your discussion, as long as it’s done politely. Provide someone the right tools and they can be more self-reliant. I couldn’t possibly count the number of times I’ve used Google to search for information. Probably at least SEVERAL times a day, on average. VERY important tool.

Hi Nikko,
Long time no vidi. Anyway how about this for something completely amazing. Just for the hell of it I just typed into google “where can I get elephontie” without the quote marks. I was wondering if it would still find links. You will not believe what you get when you type it in. If ever you doubted the power of google, doubt no more.
