THOMAS ALDERIGHI et al. have presented some very relevant research at Siggraph Asia this year on automating production of two part molds for silicone/resin casting.
Incorporating this tech would increase the value of ZBrush tenfold for a broad segment of your user base that are involved in everything from jewelry to collectables, and seems like it should be something that could be integrated into ZBrush. How can this feature be included, and are there any plans to do so? Please God, say yes - you guys are looking into this.

However, I would think that such molds would be able to be produced with relative ease using Live Boolean.
Thanks for the response Aurick! We’re having great success with live Booleans, the automatic orientation and parting line/mold generation were what piqued my interest here.
