When 2D alpahs are put in a IMM slider, can their icons in the slider be changed ?

I am putting some of my 2D alphas into the new 4R8 IMM slider.

Using: the Alpha pallet - To Mesh button, then the Brush pallet - From Mesh button.

When you do this you get a new 3D alpha icon ( a 3D image of your alpha) With some of my 2D alphas, the 2D image icon is a better reference for me. Is there any way to get the 2D image of an alph into the IMM slider?

Also I am wondering how this 2D alpah circle 02 form the Chisel Rec brush, when ist icon displays in the IMM slider you just see the gear and not the back plane?
