It was previously titled “Unleashing Zbrush” by Matthew Yetter, Jan 2006, and now this second offering, retitled and with new author, Kelly L Murdock, seems to have gone by the wayside too. It has been in my Amazon prepaid pending orders list since early 2006.
It was the very first ZBrush book offering.
Anyone have any news or info on the reasons for its demise, two authors and three years later?
(There is no longer a link on Amazon or I would have posted one).
It is my understanding that there are problems with the author (Murdock).
Same author a few years ago was delayed in getting a 3dMax to the publisher.
However I am anxiously awaiting the other one ( in case you missed it, it’s
Aurick).
If you were going to obtain a book by an expert in the field,who better?

Secrets behind…, who slept with who, etc.
Matthew (Aurick) will not be doing a book after all.
The publisher went looking for another author, Murdock, but there’s no news on if or when this book will ever be printed.
Aurick is doing a pretty good job with the wiki and online docs plus board moderation. As someone who has done books (currently working on one) it is a bit of a nightmare at times. Not a good venture for an already busy person to undertake.
Murdocks book was announced at the approximately the same time.
Don’t think her’s was a replacement.

I am betting his will be the best of the lot.
If he had released it, there was a movie deal in the works.
They had signed Dick Cheney as a guest role.
