What laptops are you all using for Zbrush?

Hello everyone.

Its my first post here. I recently downloaded a copy of Zbrushcore and only had one sitting with it when my laptop died on me. Rotten luck, eh? So anyway I’m now in the market for a new computer. I was using an older Macbook Pro (2010) and I really liked it; I’m actually in pretty deep as far as Mac software goes. As much as I have invested in it I’m now starting to look at other options as newer Macbooks are extremely expensive these days and have limited themselves to USB C only.

So, what is everyone running Zbrush on?

MSI Stealth 20d. 16gb ram, Nvidia765m, i7, 17" screen, it’s thin and relatively quiet. No problems with Zbrush so far. Substance Painter on the other hand will bring this laptop to a screeching halt. I’ve had this baby for almost three years but will probably upgrade next year.

Runs Zbrush OK … some lockups but it always has the quicksave there to fall back on. Not bad for an underpowered 5 year old computer.:+1:

I have a 2010 MacBook pro too. I maybe cheaper just to get it fixed.
