Hello, I’m on a fact finding mission on how to become a CG/3D/VFX artist. I’m wondering what is the biggest challenge people are facing to become one?

A) What was your biggest challenge in becoming one and
B) What did you do to overcome it?
Can you please be detailed and specific as possible (go beyond just saying “staying motivated”)
e. g. I didn’t know how to draw, I didn’t know how and where to begin, what school to start and simmilar.
