What does the curve do?

?

Just woke up from my daily powernap so please could you give more information on your question. My weary eyes do not understand where you are looking. Thanks

 wellwellwell, it’s a question mark - isn’t it??? And - wonderfuld thing - it tells you things: just click on it, and you’ll get some additional help >>>> but only if you MOVE THAT CURSOR around!!

EDIT: sorry, I forgot >>> you have to OPEN ZBrush for this, clicking this “curve”, right here will only give you some very nice blisters on your finger(s)!!!

Each curve accomplishes different things. Some of them adjust material properties. Some adjust shapes of the 3D objects that they are associated with. Other adjust light falloffs or the way that the edit tool is shaped.

Hold down the Ctrl key and mouse over any curve to learn more about its function.

Alternatively, read the manual – which also contains a lot of information on how to adjust the curves.

Curves are extremely powerful, and it is well worth your time learning how to use them effectively.

are we talking about graphs or something I have never seen before…/me scratches his head confused.

Yep, F/S…
