weird lines on normal map (solved)

hey chaps,

checked the web and this forum for hours now and no luck.
i’m using zb3.5 hoping to export to maya.
before i go ahead and redo the whole thing i thought it best to check it’s not anything stupid as it is rather late and i am quite tired
the only overlapping uv’s are on the nose area ( just 2 uv’s slightly overlapping i seemed to have missed?!) but nothing on the hat or anywhere else.
as it’s going to maya i’ve checked tangent and smooth uv’s in the normal box settings.
the result is these weird lines right across the map as you can see.
please help chaps as this is a matter of urgency, believe me it would be more than appreciated.

good nights sleep solves all!

used the uv master plugin and worked well, now to do it properly
still it’s bit weird that after i’d adjusted the uv’s in maya and set them out all nice zbrush still gave me those weird lines even though i’d checked the uv map in zbrush for problems. But as i said, running it through the uv master seems to have solved all.

Is there a solution for this if you don’t have UV Master?

Whats the cause of this problem?

uvmaster is actually a free plugin found here http://www.pixologic.com/zbrush/downloadcenter/zplugins/ and is easy to use.
as the problem is obviously with the uv’s, seeing as how the uv master solved it, i’d guess that my problem was with the uv map exported from maya. strangely, no matter how many times i went over the map in maya the problem remained until i used the uv master plugin.
