Weird issue happens when I use UVMaster sometimes

Hi,

I’m not sure if this is a bug but it’s quite annoying. This does not happen all the time but when it does it’s quite off putting. I run UVMaster and then all my subtools including the main one I’m working on, goes into transparency mode but the button is not activated. There is no way to put it back right until I save the project and restart. So not sure what’s causing that, I don’t care what’s causing it to be frank but I would appreciate some feedback as to what could be causing this.

My NVIDIA drivers are all up to date by the way. I run Windows 10 Pro, also up to date. My scratch disks are plenty and plenty of DDR 4 RAM.

hi @RAMWolff ,
It’s hard to say was is going wrong, without to have a look at what the issue looks like
Can you post a screenshot with the issue including the user interface and useful ?

Best regards,
Nicolas

Hi Nicolas.

I have no screen grab of the issue. Is there a log file that may have some info therein I can share to see what you good folks might see?

As stated after using the UV Master plugin to unwrap the UI seems to go into a non reversible transparency mode. When I restart ZBrush it’s cleared up! Buggy!

Thanks so much
Richard

Hi @RAMWolff

When it happens again, and before you restart ZBrush, you can create a Diagnostic Report and submit that to Pixologic Support.

ok, still hard to say, but if the UI seems to also look transparent, can you check if you have the see-through option with a value higher than 0 when the issue happen ?

yes we can access the activity report in the ZBrush Data directory but that might take time to read through all that.
you can make a report using the diagnostic tools, and it will join these activity report for the support to look into it.

You can maybe check all this by yourself if you see the See-Through is being Set to a different value right after you use uvmaster.

Hope it helps!
Nicolas.
