Weird duplicate creation issue

Hey all,
Recently started getting into Zbrush, I’m still at the totally confused stage

I’m often having an issue, where is seems like I have duplicated the mesh I am working on,

However the duplicate appears to be locked to the camera, so I am still rotating around my original mesh but the new one stay in its orientation relative to the camera, I dont seem to be able to edit the new one.

Is this some sort of graphical glitch? Or am I just fat fingering the wrong shortcut or something?

Any help is most appreciated !

Hi @Redcoat69

This post is 11 days old and I don’t know if you still need help on this, but here goes. What has happened is that you have dropped your mesh to the canvas. This will happen if you hit “Shift+S” which will drop a copy to the canvas while still keeping the original active. When this happens, all you have to do is hit “Ctrl+N” to clear the canvas and get rid of the duplicate. Then you can continue on with editing the mesh. This is normal behavior and has to do with the 2.5D aspect of ZBrush.
